TST ARE (L TO R):  JAMES ROSS,  ROB HILEY,  CHRIS RAWSON,  JAMES LOWE,  STEPHEN MACKINNON

Since the release of their debut self-titled album in 2009, TST quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Scotland’s burgeoning music scene. Their contemporary sound – infusing alternative rock with folk and country roots – has gained TST a growing fan base and widespread radio airplay.

TST first burst on to the scene in the summer of 2009, opening for Donnie Munro during his An Turas tour of Scotland and England. Following this initial exposure, TST have gone on to play alongside a number of great artists including Seth Lakeman, Wolfstone, Electric Light Orchestra, Eric Faulkner (Bay City Rollers), Blair Douglas, Skerryvore, Oysterband, 10cc and Alphabeat.

In addition to their own headline shows, TST have also performed at numerous festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Celtic Connections, Perthshire Amber, Montrose Music Festival, Islay Music Festival, Darvel Music Festival and Denmark’s Tange Sø and Hede Rytmer Festivals.

In between a busy schedule of gigs in 2010/11, TST were hard at work in the studio. Their second album, ‘Just Out Of Reach’ marked a new direction for the band and was released on the independent label Urban Fox Records in the spring of 2011. Under the astute guidance of Guitarist Morph Dobie and the band’s engineer Chris Northcote, ‘Just Out Of Reach’ captured the energy and excitement intrinsic to TST’s live show.
